Bid Perfect maintains a talent pool of professional bid personnel who will join you to cover a shortfall in resources. We can also provide an entire team to manage a full-scale complex bid project.
Our professional interims can manage every element of a winning bid. We currently manage a talent pool with c.300 registered bid professionals whose experience and skills cover every conceivable requirement. We work across all business sectors, with clients located around the world (as at August 2020, we have delivered bid support in 19 countries). A significant number of our associates have worked with us since we were founded in 2007.

WE KEEP IT SIMPLE AND PAINLESS. GETTING THE RIGHT SKILLS AT A PRICE THAT MEETS YOUR BUDGET IS STRAIGHTFORWARD.ONE OF OUR FRIENDLY TEAM WILL DISCUSS YOUR BID PROJECT WITH YOU AND THE BACKGROUND TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
They will ask you questions that will determine the people and skills you will need and make appropriate recommendations. We won't ask you to make decisions right away, we understand that you'll want to reflect on the information you receive.
We will give you the costs (which is usually a day rate) and a selection of potential candidates to review. We will put the costs in writing to you and give you CVs for the personnel we recommend. You can also speak to or interview potential Bid Perfect associates before you make a final decision.
All our associates are skills tested and have had their references checked in detail. They are fully insured and will be operating under a strictly controlled contract with us.
FAQS
Do you operate on a no win – no fee basis?
No. We will produce an exceptional bid for you, but sometimes it won't win due to factors beyond our control. These factors may include pricing, relationship, political considerations or the appropriateness of your solution.
Do you charge a commission for a winning bid?
No. Our fees are based on a simple day and expense rate which varies according to the skills and experience required of our Associate. There are no further costs.
Is there a minimum contract length?
No. You can have a Bid Perfect Associate for as long (or as little) as you need them.
Can I cancel if I decide to abandon the bid?
Yes. We will agree a notice period, but this can be as little as one day.
What if the person we take on falls ill?
We will replace them immediately if the bid project is likely to be compromised.
Will you be able to advise me on IR35 legislation?
Yes. Legislation regarding tax and NI for interim placements changed in April 2021. The changes were made under preexisting 'IR35' rules. Bid Perfect meticulously planned for these changes and now has a comprehensive IR35 (Off-Payroll) policy that will answer any questions you may have. Our team is ready to advise you and ensure that your planned interim support is fully compliant with all changes to the tax laws.
How long is a day and will your associates work unsocial hours?
A typical day is about eight hours, but our associates are flexible and able to judge what time is needed to complete a project. We will discuss the likelihood of unsocial hours or the need to work weekends with you in advance. Generally, an interim bid professional is not expected to reflect a typical '9-5' day that may be required of your employed team. He or she is expected to deliver the agreed project within the timeframes settled upon at the commencement of the contract.
Will they work in my offices?
Yes. Associates can work with you and your other stakeholders if that is your preference. They can also work remotely for some or all of the time. How you wish to work will be decided in advance.
